So, what are Group Rentals?
Great question! In a nutshell, it’s a unique program that gives you the opportunity to create your own custom event at the North Cascades Environmental Learning Center.
If you’re in search of a venue to host your next business conference, board retreat, wedding or most any other kind of gathering, the Learning Center is the perfect location. Our sustainable, Silver-LEED certified Learning Center is more than simply a place. It’s a retreat inside a national park, surrounded by snowcapped peaks, old-growth forests, glacial lakes, and a stunning display of biodiversity

Our Group Rental Program offers:

  • Lodging for up to 92 guests (bed and bath linens included
  • Organic and locally sourced meals served in our historic lakeside dining hall
  • The exclusive use of one of our meeting rooms during your stay
  • An optional naturalist activity led by our expert staff naturalists
  • Guided hiking and canoeing opportunities
  • Shuttle service to and from our campus
  • Outdoor shelters, lounges and a library for guests to relax in
  • AV equipment available and high-speed wireless Internet
  • An onsite coordinator to help with your event.

8 Limbs Yoga Summer Retreat
July 12-14
Join Megan Costello and MJ Daniels at the Environmental Learning Center for a weekend retreat of nourishing yoga practice and invigorating outdoor adventure. Each day will focus on practices to explore and stimulate the elements through asana, pranayama, meditation and shamanic practices. Students will also have the opportunity to explore the beauty of the North Cascades through hikes, canoeing on Diablo Lake and a Saturday evening campfire and ceremony.

Remote Medical International: Remote Medicine for the Advanced Provider (RMAP) Course
July 15-19
Whether you are an MD, RN, PA, NP, or paramedic, the RMAP teaches the skills and mindset necessary to perform advanced life support in remote environments. Utilizing the collective remote medical experience of RMI staff, the RMAP provides the ultimate education for ALS providers looking for formal training to work professionally in remote and non-traditional settings.

Sierra Club Outings
July 28-August 3
Join the Sierra Club for a week of hiking in the North Cascades. View alpine glaciers, awesome peaks, pristine lakes and rushing rivers. There will also be evening presentations provided by Seattle City Light and experts from North Cascades National Park. Spots are limited.
